Janine Williams has been appointed by leading hearing aid manufacturer Phonak as Product Support Specialist to service and educate NHS audiology departments and independent dispensers across the Midlands and South West England - highlighting the capabilities of Phonak's product range.
Before joining Phonak, Janine worked for four years in the Hearing Impaired Unit of Sandfields Comprehensive School in Port Talbot interpreting for deaf children. Janine also has achieved a BSL qualification and worked in the Audiology Department of the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
Commenting on her appointment, Janine said: " I decided to work for Phonak because it was an opportunity that couldn't be missed. I felt this position would provide a real challenge and give me the opportunity to carry on learning throughout my career.
Due to my previous experience, I feel I can bring a lot to this role and am enjoying creating good relationships with all the clients I meet. I am also learning to speak Welsh, which should prove very useful in the future!”
