2^nd European Conference on Pediatric Amplification Solutions: A huge success!

On October 24-25 2005, 350 professionals from 34 countries worldwide joined the Second European Pediatric Conference, sponsored by Phonak. Co-chaired by Professor Richard Seewald and Professor Kevin Munro, key experts in the field, the conference featured a combination of high-level presentations, workshops and clinical forums devoted to the research and clinical issues related to hearing loss, communication development, and fitting of hearing systems to infants and young children.

The conference, held in Amsterdam, was successful in enabling participants to integrate newly acquired knowledge into their daily practice and allowed interactions with all faculty members.

Phonak is committed to facilitating best practice within audiology at an international level and planning is already underway for the next pediatric conference, due to take place in Chicago, in December 2007.
